Establishing performance metrics enables us to compare the individual performance of one or more specific location(s) with all of our other locations producing the same product. We use the approach for manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and other processes too.

After the metrics have shown us who is best-in-class, we analyze what enables this location to perform so well. Once we know this, we can apply the same or similar solutions to any or all of the other locations. The end results? Cost and quality improvements.
